Natalia Sikorska (Tomasz Sikorski’s wife)
He was good company, witty and intelligent. Everybody loved him. (...) He had a talent for languages. He spoke English, German and French well. The contact he established with Nadia Boulanger in Paris survived for years. Every year she would sent him Chinese smoked tea and writing instruments.
However, he was a loner for a variety of reasons. He never liked any feasts, especially the 1st of November. He felt uncomfortable in family situations. Towards the end he drank a lot and often placed his friends in very difficult, awkward situations.
He always composed at the piano, often persistently repeating a motif or a chord. He appreciated Lutosławski.
